Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

The Maar Artelier website was created, is owned, and is operated by Graziele Neves da Silva, identified by Tax ID 293935564, owner of the trademark "Maar Artelier". These Terms & Conditions are intended to govern the online sale of Maar Artelier items as well as the use of the website www.maarartelier.com.
SECTION 1 — ONLINE STORE TERMS
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

Maar Artelier has the exclusive right to suspend, partially or fully, the availability or access to the website at any time, especially (but not exclusively) for operations of management, maintenance, repair, modification, or upgrade. Maar Artelier may also shut down the website, either partially or entirely, permanently or temporarily, at any time without notice.
General Use
The user must use the website responsibly, prudently, and carefully, without disrupting or degrading the continuity, integrity, or quality of its features. Users must not use the site unlawfully, including any activity that offends existing legislation. Maar Artelier reserves the right to suspend website access for any users who misuse or violate these Terms.
The user acknowledges that using the website is at their own risk and is solely responsible for any damage to their system or device or loss of data resulting from the use of materials or information obtained through the website.
Maar Artelier and Graziele Neves da Silva are not responsible for any damages caused during the use of the internet network, such as interference, external intrusions, service interruptions, viruses, or disconnections.
Users must comply with and respect these general conditions and agree to the following obligations:

SECTION 5 — PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
Using this website does not necessarily require you to provide personal data. However, if you wish to request contact, clarification, or purchase products from Maar Artelier, personal data may be required. We recommend reading our Privacy Policy available at maarartelier.com before proceeding.
SECTION 6 — CHANGES TO SERVICE AND PRICES
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) at any time without notice.
We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
All prices are listed in Euros and include VAT at the applicable legal rate at the time of order payment. An invoice will be issued and included with your order.
Current accepted payment methods include: PayPal, Pix, MB Way, and Visa/MasterCard credit cards.
SECTION 7 — EXCHANGES AND RETURNS (CANCELLATIONS)
Right of withdrawal – Customers have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to request an exchange or return/cancellation.
To do so, please email us at contato@maarartelier.com with the subject line “Exchange or Return Order [include request and order number]”. In the body of the email, include your full name, order number, and the reason for the return or exchange.
The Maar Artelier team will assess the request and, if approved, will send a return authorization and instructions for shipping the item back.
Our pieces are handcrafted, exclusive, and some are one-of-a-kind. Many are personalized or custom-made to order via our website. Therefore, personalized or made-to-order pieces are not eligible for exchange or return.
Exceptions (items not eligible for exchange/return):

Personalized products (e.g., engraved jewelry or custom orders), unless defective;

Earrings, hoops, and piercings — for hygiene and health protection reasons, they may not be returned once opened;

Final sale items.
Once the item is received and reviewed, if it meets the conditions, the exchange or refund will be authorized. Items must be in perfect condition, unused, with all tags attached (if applicable), and include the invoice in the box.
For exchanges, you may choose to receive store credit or a replacement product of similar value.
For returns, a refund will be issued via the original payment method within 14 days.
Shipping costs for returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.
SECTION 8 — WARRANTY
At Maar Artelier, we guarantee that all our jewelry and accessories are crafted using high-quality materials with great attention to detail. In accordance with Portuguese law, we offer a 3-year legal warranty from the date of delivery.
The warranty does not cover natural wear and tear, oxidation of silver, fading of gold plating, visible signs of misuse or negligence, or any alterations or repairs carried out by unauthorized third parties.
The warranty covers:

Manufacturing defects;

Material flaws;

Non-conformity with the product description at the time of purchase.
To activate the warranty:

Contact us at contato@maarartelier.com with your order number, a description of the defect, and a photo of the item;

Send the item to our atelier for inspection;

After review, we will inform you of the available solutions: repair, replacement, or refund.
SECTION 9 — SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Orders are shipped via CTT (Portugal) or another carrier selected by the customer at checkout. We aim to dispatch orders within 7 business days after payment confirmation. This timeframe does not include the additional delivery time required by the selected carrier.
As advocates of slow fashion, our pieces are handcrafted and often custom-made. If the item is not in stock or is a custom order, the delivery time may be extended.
Maar Artelier will make every effort to ensure delivery within the estimated timeframe, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Graziele Neves da Silva shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from delivery delays or product unavailability. Customers will receive tracking instructions via email once the order is shipped.
We do not ship to islands.
We currently ship to the following countries (in alphabetical order):
Brazil, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mainland Portugal, Netherlands, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
- Deliveries to Brazil: After shipping, the products are subject to customs clearance (in Curitiba), which may affect the delivery time (see below).
📦 Shipping to Brazil – Import Tax Information
Maar Artelier ships to Brazil. However, as an international order, your purchase is subject to Brazilian import tax regulations under Law No. 14.902/24, which requires the mandatory payment of import duties on all goods purchased abroad.
How it works:
- Orders are dispatched within 7 business days after payment confirmation.
- Delivery time varies depending on the chosen carrier and customs clearance procedures in Brazil.
- Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number to follow your order.
- Upon arrival in Brazil, your order will go through customs inspection, where import taxes and ICMS (state VAT) will be calculated.
- To proceed with delivery, you must access the Correios website (www.correios.com.br), create an account using your CPF, and visit the "Minhas Importações" section to view and pay the tax invoice.
- After payment, Correios will deliver the package to your registered address.
Note: Customers are responsible for tracking their order and paying any import duties. Failure to pay may result in the return of the order without refund.
All products are subject to stock availability. If an item is out of stock, the customer will be informed and, whenever possible, offered an alternative. If no alternative is acceptable, a full refund will be issued with no additional charges.
Delivery Address
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address where someone is available to receive the package. If the carrier is required to make a second delivery due to address errors or absence of a recipient, the customer will be charged again for shipping.
Orders over or equal to €90 qualify for free shipping. However, if a second delivery attempt is needed, it will be charged.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes on our website. SECTION 12 — GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements through which we provide services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal.
If any provision or part of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unenforceable or contrary to applicable law, the validity of the remaining terms or provisions shall not be affected. The interpretation and application of these Terms are subject to Portuguese law.
Complaints may be submitted by consumers via the official Portuguese complaints portal: www.livroreclamacoes.pt.
Jurisdiction
All disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be resolved by the Court of the District of Lisbon West.
